Hey guys. So lately we have been seeing a lot of videos about Kony 2012, but here is just a little change from the recent news going on. My high school made a video for the Best Buddies Club, fighting against the word retard. Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I know everyone has a bad day, you failed a test or you had a fight with your parents, but we really need to be thankful for the lives we have because imagine the struggles that these kids have to deal with every day. People in this video are not only people with disabilities but also gracious volunteers. Trade the awful word retard for a lovely word respect. Please reblog and spread the word to end the word.
